Privacy
CakePricer does not require an account. Recipe names, costs, rates, hours, servings, margins, calculated prices, and saved records remain on your device and are not sent to our analytics providers.
Anonymous product analytics
The website and iOS app use PostHog for limited product-interaction events, such as landing-page views, a completed calculator interaction, App Store clicks, app opens, recipe prices saved, paywall views, and purchase-flow outcomes. Events may include page path, campaign attribution, app version, build number, platform, plan interval, storefront country, elapsed time, and privacy-safe error codes. We disable web session replay, person profiles, and cross-app tracking. We never send costs, rates, hours, servings, margins, recipe names, calculated prices, saved records, email addresses, or your identity to PostHog.
Website analytics (Google Analytics)
The website also uses Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate site usage, such as pages viewed, referrer, device type, and approximate location. We do not enable Google Signals or ad personalization features, so Google Analytics is not used for advertising or remarketing on this site. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy for how Google handles this data. Automated testing and QA traffic is excluded from Google Analytics.
Operational data
Our hosting providers may process standard request information for delivery and security. The public web calculator runs in your browser and does not submit its calculator inputs to us.
Support
If you email us, we receive the address and message you provide. Use fictional examples and do not send customer records or payment information.
Your choices
Deleting the app removes its local records and install-scoped analytics identifier from that device. Browser controls may block or clear website analytics storage.
